It's been nearly four years since my xanga account has gone idle. With facebook taking over, I thought there would be little need to go back to blogging. I mean, who really reads blogs anyways? Unless you're an awesome writer or you have awesome things going on in your life...and to this, I would say that I'm neither .
It's been roughly 6 weeks since I left Seattle, and being the talkative person that I am, maybe I just miss talking to people...or I just like sharing my thoughts with people who would listen. The truth is, God has taken me on an amazing journey thus far. When I look back even a year, 3 years ago...I would have never thought I'd be where I am today. God is real, He speaks to me each day. Sometimes it's as loud as the sound of the freeway rumbling against my much-too-old studio window...and other times, God speaks in a subtle whisper. In big ways and small, God is always moving in my life. I hope this blog can be a safe place where I can really "think out loud" and wrestle with what God is saying to me.
Why not just jot down my thoughts privately in a journal? Well, I think stories about God is something that always needs to be shared. Being an active witness is to be ready in season and out of season to testify about what God is always doing. Whether anyone listens or responds, my job is just to share about Him.
